I wish i could give this hotel "0" stars but i had to click at least one to be able to post this. This hotel is AWFUL!!! Do not stay here!!!! It took over 2 hrs to heat the room up. We had to leave and come back it was so cold. Then the heater stopped working in the middle of the night. Again, freezing. Asked for extra towels and they brought us towels with stains on them. The carpet was stained. The sheets were stained. And...as if that was not all bad enough my son got BED BUGS from there. YES, i said BED BUGS!!! We counted 35 bites on him. Had to wash EVERYTHING that went with us.
Thanks God we only had to stay one night. We would have absolutely left!!!

It was a nice place to sleep a night. Greatest thing was the service. We drove three hours from our home for a event today. Something went wrong with payment down the street and this place helped us out with what we had in our pockets. Will go back to this hotel anytime we come to Indiana.
The new owners are all about making a buck. They over booked and turned multiple people away that already had reservations. Outdated and dirty. The pool was closed due to "cleaning " but the "cleaners" family were sure enjoying it. They own the hotel on the hill across the road and told my children for $50 they could use the Jacuzzi over there. Never again!
My family members just stayed there and there are BED BUGS. I saw them for myself. The owners were told with no offer of money back and no apologies. My family had to head back home a day early because of this. They were miserable.
Fix it up, get rid of the bed bugs, get new beds and I'll rewrite my review. Until then, people, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction.
Something seriously needs done with this place. It is a dirty and run down place to stay. I would not even put a dog in this hotel.
Also, as we were carrying our things to the awful room a gentlemen came to the door and asked if we have a puppy. We told him no and he just stood there looking and repeating "are you sure". I opened the door and said here you can see. He actually stepped in and took a look around. I was insulted that he didnt believe us.
This is the cleanest motel (or hotel!) I've ever stayed in. There wasn't even dust behind the headboards! Good job, Midwest Inn.
When i told the lady at the desk she just stood and smiled while shaking her head saying "you checking out or staying". She did not speak good English and i dont believe she understood it either. No refund was offered, no discount, not even an apology. It was the WORST PLACE EVER and WORST SERVICE i EVER had.
